sspencer, Music Lives Here - Amie Street

Glass is infectious. This music doesn't change the world or change music much, but it is well crafted pop music with great instrumentation, vocals and beat. "Mr. Popstar" is a great forward book-end to this collection.

Glass: one part singer songwriter, one part band. Glass a duo from Sweden combines the band and singer/songwriter categories and make it a simple yet original combo. I compare almost all the Glass songs to taking an 80's am catchy radio hit and symplifying it to it's bare essentials and you there you have a catchy, moody, beautiful little Glass number. Simple, smooth and delightfully good, a Glass that is always on the half full side.

About Music of Glass

Music of Glass started out as a band during the winter of 2004. Henning met Robert through some of their mutual friends, and through his gut feeling he asked if he liked to start a band with him after meeting shortly a couple of times. They ended up recording 7 of Henning's original compositions as a demo in Roberts flat and arranged the songs together. The music turned out to be melodic pop with influences from all kinds of music they liked. Some influenced by the American songwriter tradition, some with a touch of 60s brittish pop or jazz.

In the year of 2005 things started to roll for Glass. At this time Glass decided to make an album and brought the friends Christopher Anderzon and Henrik Ståhlberg in to join. In february 2006, after year of recording and mixing, the recording was done - Life lines.

Music of Glass are:

Henning Axelsson - lead and backupvocals, keyboards Robert Säll - acoustic and electric guitars Christopher Anderzon - bass Henrik Ståhlberg - drums
